The Season so Far

Well so far in my career as manager of Southampton (as of 30 Sep 2009) I have had 5 wins 3 losses and 2 draws. I guess it didn't boost the team morale to know that we would start with -10 points. The Transfers I made during the summer were that Mathew Sadler of Watford came for a fee of £500k I was sure that he was going to help steady our easily broken defence and the other player I bought was Welsh left winger David Vaughan for a fee of £800k. I brought some players on loan as the club only had 3 strikers, the players I brought were Gavin Gunning a young defender who has amazing potential, Mark Little of Wolves a right back who can also feature at centre half and my last signing I couldnt sign any under 23s so I looked for an over 23 striker and I found Maceo Rigters, not the best striker in the world but he has enough experience to play well for us. The board expects that I finish in the play-offs and I know that I think I can get there.

Hello, this is my blog about Football Manager 2010. The team I shall be managing will be the saints! Southampton F.C. used to be regulars in the Premier League and my target is to get them back in 5 years this blog will be following my progress as I look to get the Saints back to the big time.
